In 2018, the R&D department a laboratory that complies with the medical device GMP standard were established. Our experience allows us to better undertand clinical needs, and we are committed to developing a more suitable medical device for clinical practice. Using hydrogel technology, we will develop wound care products, biomedical device, and other products with innovative technologies. The main market will focus on various types of surgery and improving clinical quality. The R & D department is composed of experts who specialize in polymer science, cell biology, materials science, biomedical engineering, stem cell science, and patents, etc. Our ultimate goal is to impove the quality of human health by integrating market needs with solid knowledge.

ESTABLISHMENT OF R&D DEPARTMENT


In 2018, a research and development department was established, consisting of professionals in polymer science, cell biology, material science, biomedical engineering, stem cell science, and patents. The primary research focuses on developing high-molecular polymers for medical use, with the goal of developing anti-adhesive material and wound repair products. Building upon this technology, we aim to develop high-end polymer medical materials with additional functionalities. Furthermore, we intend to explore the synergies between materials and cell therapy or drug delivery, thereby extending the scope of our technological capabilities.

Throughout the process, we have integrated our efforts with clinical needs, and accumulated extensive experience in various regulatory applications and quality control systems, which have helped to solidify the  company's research and development capabilities in pharmaceutical-related products.

Throughout the product development process, the integration of domestic resources from upsteam raw materials and equipment manufacturers, consultation on clinical needs, third-party commissioned research and post-market distribution planning have all accelerated the formation of the biotech industry chain and promoted the sustainable development of the domestic pharmaceutical industry.

Short-term goals

Develop new medical polymers, including patent layout and various tests.

Mid-term goals

The mid-term plan aims to focus on product validation and mass production, as well as applying for various international certifications, including FDA, CE certification, ISO Certification and TFDA permits, etc.

Long-term goals

Remotely utilize the technology base to extend and expand product application, while continuing to develop new technologies. 

With the research and development capabilities gathered from years of experience and experts from various fields, we aim to create polymer products for medical use that meet market demands, and to bring significant progress to the field of medical technology, creating a milestone for humanity.

R&D GOALS

MBD Biotech Co., Ltd. gradually invest in the development and production of domestic high-end polymer medical materials in the future and develop relevant key technologies. The order of priority is as follows:
   1. Anti-adhesive product that is easy to use and can accelerate tissue and organ repair after surgery.
   2. Long-acting joint cavity polymer injection, which is used to treat various degenerative arthritis.
   3. Anti-infective integrated polymer dressing that can be used for various traumas and accelerate healing.
   4. Combine with cell therapy or drug release.
