PROVIEW-MBD Biotech specializes in the development of thermo-responsive anti-adhesion hydrogels and their clinical applications, integrating material design, process optimization, and clinical translation in compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
Positioning and Vision
Leveraging the RD strength and interdisciplinary expertise accumulated since its establishment in 2013, PROVIEW-MBD Biotech brings together professionals in polymer science, materials science, biomedical engineering, cell biology, and intellectual property to focus on the research and application of smart hydrogels and advanced polymer-based medical materials.
The company began with the development of medical materials featuring anti-adhesion and wound-healing functions, using this as its core technology to expand into diverse fields such as regenerative medicine, drug delivery, and cell therapy, continuously deepening and broadening material applications.
During the RD process, PROVIEW-MBD closely integrates clinical needs and has accumulated extensive experience in regulatory submissions and quality-system implementation. This has resulted in a complete value chain from material development, process validation, and clinical research to product commercialization, promoting seamless integration between RD and manufacturing, and between clinical application and the market.
All products comply with international quality standards such as ISO and GDP, and meet regulatory requirements of TFDA, U.S. FDA, and EU CE, ensuring product safety and consistency.

Research and development goals
The company gradually invest in the development and production of domestic high-end polymer medical materials in the future and develop relevant key technologies. The order of priority is as follows:
- Anti-adhesive product that is easy to use and can accelerate tissue and organ repair after surgery.
- Long-acting joint cavity polymer injection, which is used to treat various degenerative arthritis.
- Anti-infective integrated polymer dressing that can be used for various traumas and accelerate healing.
- Combine with cell therapy or drug release.
- Combined with implantable medical electronic systems.
Ministry of Economic Affairs' RD A+ Project Plan Application
Commence the project entitled "Development Program for a Single-Solution, Thermosensitive, Sprayable Hydrogel for Postoperative Adhesion Prevention".
Patent layout
Applying for an invention patent for smart hydrogel in several regions, including: the United States, Europe, Japan, Taiwan and China.
Biotech research park
Selected to move into Hsinzhu Biomedical Park and establish a small-scale pilot production base.
Merger and acquisition
Merging MBD bio-tech Co., Ltd. by utilizing the funds returned to Taiwan, rename it as PROVIEW-MBD Co., Ltd.
